French Bread Florentine

pound hot or sweet Italian sausage links, removed from casing and crumbled

cup chopped onion

loaf French bread (about 12 inches long), halved lengthwise

cup RAGÚ® Pizza Quick® Snack Sauce
|
|

box (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
|
|
1

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces)
|

|

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
|
|
2. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, brown sausage with onion over medium-high heat until sausage is no longer pink.
|
|
3. On baking sheet, arrange bread halves. Evenly spread Snack Sauce on bread halves, then top with sausage mixture, then spinach and cheese. Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Tip
These sausage-spinach pizzas are great for parties and after-school snacks. Cut them into 2-inch pieces to fit kid-size mouths.
